Chemtech Systems was founded in 1991 to build and sell chemical recovery, filtration, and waste treatment equipment.
The company’s principals are Allen Hayes and Steve Swanson. Allen Hayes received a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and was the head of Chemical Engineering at Sealed Power for 10 years before starting Chemtech Systems. Steve Swanson received a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and was Head of Facilities Engineering for Sealed Power for 10 years and President of Engineering Dimensions for 7 years before coming to Chemtech Systems.
Chemtech Systems has done recovery and filtration projects in China, Portugal, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. We specialize in filtration, evaporative recovery, and ion exchange. Evaporative recovery is utilized to recover chromic acid in plating operations. Ion exchange is utilized to recover nickel, and other metals in plating operations. Waste treatment systems are designed using filtration instead of clarification to minimize operator interface and improve discharge.
